The Fixer Upperby Mary Kay Andrews |
Wanda Cohen (08/17/11): I loved this book. It's fun but not fluff. It's not Water For Elephants but it's an entertaining read. The plot is interesting and moves along quickly. There are well developed characters who give wonderful insights into the personalities and customs of people born and raised in the South.
See what can happen when a young lawyer who lives, works and plays in Washington D.C., finds herself unemployed,
homeless and exiled to a tiny town in Georgia. Her only family there is a long lost cousin, of sorts, who
hates her on sight. You will cheer as she finds her courage, grows a backbone and stand up to her merciless father,
flighty mom and the FBI! Buy it because you are going to want to pass it around to your friends. 3++
