Faith Bowers (01/28/12): This is a story of their history told by Edna
to their priest. The forward is by Ann Patchett, an author I admire ( Bel Canto, Run, State of Wonder)
which I read in two parts before and after this short novel of 145 pages. The novel is also of two parts:
both the history of a family in Ireland and the priests' day of fishing after the funeral. I enjoyed
this book because it is a fulfilling story that makes you think of what is important for a life.
