ex-boyfriend-before-the-husband, Spence, very thinly disguised as a
character in a novel she wrote; and a young 22-year-old lover named Lucas.
Oh, and I mustn't forget Chester, her dog. The narrative bops around
among these characters and others, before Holly finally finds unexpected
romance with... well, you didn't think I'd spoil THAT for you, did you?
