event Edie has been dreading? The dread certainly comes to pass; the honeymoon, not so much.
We soon meet all three grown children and their significant others (or lack of), and discover
how quickly and unexpectedly an empty nest can fill up again. Joanna Trollope tells it like it
is about family love, quarrels, growth, and lessons learned. The narrative is warm and exceptionally
true-to-life, and I very much enjoyed reading it.
