Scarpettaby Patricia Cornwell |
Debbie Weiss: I was disappointed in this newest book
by Patricia Cornwell. I never really got pulled into the story and I never really connected
with any of the characters. Of course, it was a murder mystery which had a lot of twists and
turns, but I just could not get excited about the plot.

Wanda Cohen: Although this book isn't as good
as her earlier ones it's still a good murder mystery
that involves cutting edge technology and forensics. All her famous characters,
Dr. Kay Scarpetta, of course, and her niece, Lucy, Marino, and Benton Wesley are present.
The killer is really nasty and someone you will love to hate and secretly hope you never meet
in real life. I couldn't put it down and read it when I should have been sleeping so even
though it's not a great Cornwell, it's still a pretty good book.
