The boy becomes a Rabbi and marries the girl. The story tells about their problems.
First they are at an old orthodox synagogue where the boy, Chaim's,
grandfather is the Rabbi. When the grandfather dies, they move to a rich modern orthodox
synagogue, where their life is very different. There are a lot of Jewish phrases in the
book and if you can understand them, the book is much more interesting.
