Michele Rabago:It was a great Saturday all around. Paul Sanchez,
New Orleans singer, songwriter and now Author, did a reading of his book
'Pieces of Me' at Eddie's attic during the Decatur Book festival.
Mr Sanchez was eloquent in his stories and his readings. The audience
was captivated by the ups and downs of a New Orleans native after Katrina.
He blessed us with a few songs and the stories that led up to their creation.
It was easy to tell that he not only had fans of his music but fans of
New Orleans and perhaps former residents of New Orleans blown away from
home by Katrina. If you are interested in an easy reading book expressing
the heart of New Orleans, 'Pieces of Me' by Paul Sanchez is exactly
what you want.
