Nancy Jackson: I enjoyed the book, but felt emotionally manipulated by the ending. I think it will make a good tear jerker chick flick, but after being put through the emotional ringer with the book, I doubt that I will see the film. Rating: ***
Chris Mehling: This is the first novel I have read by this author. I will definitely read more of her books! Picoult's characters are so compelling I could barely put the book down. (and so unlike me!) Her story telling is elaborate and engrossing, while her ability to bring her characters to life is amazing. This was a spellbinding story, and not one I am likely to forget soon. I highly recommend this book. Rating: *****
