I've read by Maggie O'Farrell, and her latest, the "Esme Lennox" book is
still my favorite. My Lover's Lover is an interesting and compelling
view into relationships with a modern-day perspective. I wonder if we've
all met a "Marcus" before, a charming, good-looking guy
whose charisma sweeps you off your feet. However, his relationship
track record proves him to be the non-committal type. His old lover
haunts his new one in a fast-paced roller-coaster ride of a story
that is at once haunting and heartbreaking.
