Loren Poley: Wonderful book by a talented writer who tells the story of Paul Farmer, the founder of Partners in Health. The author skillfully describes the life work of an amazing man, delving into his soul and the forces that shaped his direction and passion. Farmer is a genuine hero living in our time that few people know about. The stories of his work in Haiti, Peru, and Russian prisons are masterfully presented. I found the book not only educational, but very enjoyable and truly inspirational. Rating: ****
