Wanda Cohen (12/12/11): This is the latest in a long list of Alex Cross
novels by Patterson. I had almost stopped reading Patterson's novels because they had gotten so predictable.
This one is better than most because it stars his most famous character Alex Cross. The lesser characters were
not as well developed as I would have liked but I still feared the bad guys and cheered for the good guys and
didn't know what to expect next. All in all, an entertaining read that kept my interest. Although I would have
liked the plot to be a bit tighter, it still made me happy that I decided to give James Patterson one more try.
It would be great for the plane or as an escape from the holiday chaos. I give it a 3+.
