Wanda Cohen (10/20/11): This is the first book by Laurie Notaro
that I've read. It won't be my last. I love her style of writing and her hilarious stories. She is brilliant
and witty and warm and real. I laughed till my sides hurt. I identified with much of what happens in
this book. Who among us hasn't fallen into the false hope that the clothes on the model will look like that
on us. Who hasn't taken the wrong size into the dressing room but tried it anyway in the hope that it might
work. Really I want her to be my new best friend but only if I don't have to dress up with her for Halloween.
Read it, you will feel the same way.
I'd write more but I have to go download Nataro's other books to my Kindle.
