In the mood for a good "Whodunit?" I couldn't put "Down River" down.
I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed a good mystery and sought out a winner. I was not disappointed.
I've already reserved his first novel, King of Lies.
Down River does a great job intertwining the lives of families in a small town;
even the cops and detectives are family related. John Hart incorporates enough
twists and turns to keep you guessing almost til the end. It's a story about family secrets,
strengths and frailties, and about forgiveness. You want to know the result, but you hate for the book to end
