Carol Sherman: A few weeks ago I was working at a library book sale. A lady came in to look at the bargains and of course we talked about favorite books. She told me every woman needed to read Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas (2008). Having never read it I reserved it at my local library.
This book is one of those easy read books with a good message. I quickly was emotionally engrossed
and empathized with Haven Travis as she struggled with her husband, her family, herself and a marriage gone wrong.
The book touches victims of emotional and physical abuse in many types of relationships, at work and at home.
It gives hope for overcoming the past and taking hold of your life. The book has lots of action and romance
to keep you turning pages. Blue-Eyed Devil is a good summer beach book. I rate it a 4 star.
