Gwendolyn Waring (12/07/11): Paoulo Coelho's newest novel describes
a journey in self-examination. As I read the book, I was distracted by the questions that the
author subconsciously suggests which cause the reader to drift off into self-examination. I had
to re-read passages because I began to re-examine my purpose in life. I enjoyed reading Coelho's journey,
and the spiritual growth it inspires. I also enjoyed the fantasy time travel aspects of his journey immensely.
